Aloft Hotels Re:fuel Breakfast Options — Re:fuel for Aloft Hotels

Creative Direction: For its boutique Aloft brand, the Marriott food and beverage team developed a line of healthy breakfast dishes in a cup that guests could order to enjoy in the hotel lounge or on the go. These Re:fuel breakfast pots are assembled to order from a selection of 13 menu options, including poached egg with avocado and quinoa, mini pancakes, and cheddar grits with chicken and egg. Working with the client and ad agency, we created eye-catching images of ingredients and finished dishes for onsite menu boards and promotions—designed to appeal to busy (and hungry!) travelers. We also captured short animated videos. Aloft’s Re:fuel program has caught on with guests and is poised to reshape food in the hospitality industry.

Gregorys Coffee Staff Pouring Coffee — Gregory’s Coffee

Creative Direction: We wanted these photos to make you feel like you’re standing in a Gregory’s Coffee store: surrounded by sights, enticing aromas and activity. We created a full library of images for the company’s new website and mobile app, shooting in one of their cafés, in Gregory’s roasting facility and bakery. My visual approach sparked from the brand’s black logo and “rural industrial” interior aesthetic; I used dark backgrounds and high contrast to make the coffee drinks and baked goods really pop. Shooting on location with real employees brought a vibrant energy to the images, making Gregory’s feel like the place to be.

Creative Direction: To help promote what sets EU butter apart, I worked with Butter of Europe and their agency to capture varied uses of butters from across a number of regions.
From photographing finished recipes to showcasing the beauty of these products in simpler applications, this shoot was an opportunity to collaborate with a stellar international team in creating mouthwatering images.

Stretching on Yoga Mat in Westin Gym — Westin, Stay Fit

Creative Direction: Guests staying at certain Westin properties can borrow exercise gear to stay fit and active while they’re traveling. It’s a great offering, produced in collaboration with New Balance and part of Westin’s Move Well program. For the Gear Lending promotional campaign, I created an animated GIF that shows the elements in the gear bag (clothing, shoes, water bottle, safety lights and running map). We also photographed models running in Central Park to show the gear in action.
